This listing features the XLarge Wired White Sugar Peonies whose standard petal size makes them more suitable for small/medium sized celebration cakes.

The Wired XLarge 3D Peony measurements are as follows:
70mm/2.75" diameter, 38mm/1.5" height
The wire length from the base of the flower is approximately 8-9 cms (3.5").

The Wired Peony Bud measurements are as follows:
30mm/1.25" diameter, 30mm/1.25" height

Wired Peony Leaves: 
Each Wired Peony is supplied with 3 separate Wired Peony Leaves, one of each different shape, normally in a mid green shade. Should you require a deeper green, white or other pearlised shade of leaf (eg gold, silver or rose gold), please let me know by sending a message to accompany your order.

Each flower is individually sculptured by hand with a very large number of separate petals, each carefully created & contoured to create a very realistic, lifelike flower.

On this listing, the items can be supplied with a white or green wire. Normally, wired flowers on a white wire are supplied with the calyx at the bottom of the flower in the same colour as the flower, whilst non-pearlised flowers on a a green wire are supplied with a calyx subtly highlighted with green. Should you want an alternative combination (eg green-calyx roses on a white wire) please let me know.

Although the wired flowers & wired leaves are  made from edible flower paste, they each contain a wire and are therefore intended for cake decorating purposes only. They should be removed from the cake before it is eaten.

WIRED ITEMS SHOULD NEVER BE INSERTED DIRECTLY INTO THE CAKE. It is recommended that a small posy pick be inserted into the cake first to hold the wires. Alternatively, the product called SAFETY SEAL by Ingenious Edibles can be used to coat the wire with a sealant before inserting it directly into the cake.

Colour

As all my colours are hand-mixed and sprayed, they may differ slightly from those shown, They may also show slight natural variations in colour due to the process of laying airbrush colour (as opposed to using colouring paste as one solid block of colour). Equally, please by aware that the same shade may display differently on different monitors.

All non-pearl shades are finished with a slight satin protective sheen.
