Shade & Size

This listing features Wired Larger/+ Size Chocolate Brown Mix Sugar Roses whose large petal diameter (33mm width) makes them more suitable for medium/large sized celebration cakes.

The roses come in the chocolate-brown colour mix combination of White Chocolate (aka Cream/Light), Milk Chocolate (aka Cocoa/Dark) & Dark Chocolate (aka Nut Brown/Dark). comprising equal numbers of each shade.

PLEASE NOTE - THESE ARE NOT REAL CHOCOLATE ROSES! They are fine sugar flowers made of flowerpaste coloured in chocolate/brown colours - there is no chocolate flavour to them!

Although the roses are themselves made from edible flower paste, they each contain a polystyrene cone centre & wire and are therefore intended for cake decorating purposes only. They should be removed from the cake before it is eaten.

The following sizes are available in Sets of 3 as well as in single sample format:
Rosebud+ (28mm/1.1" diameter/ 40mm/1.6" height/ 6 petals)
Medium+  Rose (60mm/2.4" diameter/ 40mm/1.6" height/ 11 petals)
Large+ Rose (70mm/2.75" diameter/ 40mm/1.6" height/ 16 petals)
XLarge+/Super Rose (80mm/3.2" diameter/ 42mm/1.7" height/ 21 petals)

These WIRED sugarcraft roses are are perfect for decorating your own special celebration cakes suitable for many different occasions, including weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. The wire length from the base of the rose is approximately 8-9 cms (3.5"). Should you require a longer length of wire, please let me know.

Each rose is individually sculptured by hand with a very large number of separate petals, each carefully created & contoured to create a very realistic, lifelike rose.

On this listing, the wired roses can either be supplied with a white wire or a green wire. Normally, wired roses on a white wire are supplied with the calyx at the bottom of the rose in the same colour as the rose, whilst roses on a green wire are supplied with a green calyx. Please scroll down the listing to make your choice! Should you want an alternative combination (eg green-calyx roses on a white wire) please let me know.

WIRED ITEMS SHOULD NEVER BE INSERTED DIRECTLY INTO THE CAKE. It is recommended that a small posy pick be inserted into the cake first to hold the wires. Alternatively, the product called SAFETY SEAL by Ingenious Edibles can be used to coat the wire with a sealant before inserting it directly into the cake.

Colour

As all my colours are hand-mixed and/or sprayed, they may differ slightly from those shown. For airbrushed sugar flowers, natural slight variations in colour might also occur due to the process of laying airbrush colour. Equally, please by aware that the same shade may display differently on different monitors.
