This listing features White Wired Sugar Peonies.

There are two Peony sizes available in Sets of 3 & 6 as well as in Single Sample format:

XLarge 3D Peonies - diameter 70mm/depth 38mm (Standard petal size, suitable for Small to Medium Cakes)
XLarge+/Super Peonies - diameter 75mm/depth 40mm (Larger petal size, suitable for Medium to Large Cakes)

Although the flowers are themselves made from edible flower paste, they each contain a polystyrene centre & wire and are therefore intended for cake decorating purposes only. They should be removed from the cake before it is eaten.

These WIRED sugarcraft flowers are are perfect for decorating your own special celebration cakes suitable for many different occasions, including weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. The wire length from the base of the flower is approximately 8-9 cms (3.5"). Should you require a longer length of wire, please let me know.

Each peony is individually sculptured by hand with a very large number of separate petals, each carefully created & contoured to create a very realistic, lifelike flower.

On this listing, the wired flowers can either be supplied with a white wire or a green wire.

Normally, wired flowers on a white wire are supplied with the calyx at the bottom of the flower in the same colour as the flower, whilst non-pearl flowers on a green wire are supplied with a calyx subtly highlighted with green. Please scroll down the listing to make your choice! Should you want an alternative combination (eg green-calyx flowers on a white wire) please let me know.

WIRED ITEMS SHOULD NEVER BE INSERTED DIRECTLY INTO THE CAKE. It is recommended that a small posy pick be inserted into the cake first to hold the wires. Alternatively, the product called SAFETY SEAL by Ingenious Edibles can be used to coat the wire with a sealant before inserting it directly into the cake.

Colour

As all my colours are hand-mixed and/or sprayed, they may differ slightly from those shown. For airbrushed sugar flowers, natural slight variations in colour might also occur due to the process of laying airbrush colour. Equally, please by aware that the same shade may display differently on different monitors.
